There are many kinds of insects - more than you would think. Currently scientists have to sort the insects into their biological families by themselves. But...for some of the insects it could be maybe partially automated. Most of the flies have unique wings. If we would develop a software that would recognize the links in the wings of the flies and store it in some vector representations, it could be then used by scientists to rapidly categorize the samples. | There are many kinds of insect - more than you would think.
